I just signed up and purchased it :) I was a little hesitant because I had one accident where I got one of those trial offers for some mineral makeup and forgot to send it back and ended up having to keep it for nearly $100! Never again.... >__<; I'm wondering how the quality is going to be though, and hopefully we don't end up with any MyGlam shenanigans with this box LOL
ReplyDeleteI signed up for Julep when they had the one cent promo last time, around December I think :D It was a great deal, but I ended up cancelling. The quality of their items is very good, just not interesting or unique enough to stay subscribed, in my opinion. Plus their nail polishes are so expensive (and the bottles are so small too! Like half the size of the average nail polish) that $40 worth of product is like three things lol I couldn't justify it with my budget.

I got Boho Glam in the quiz by the way and that's the box I ordered ^_^ I'm not sure I will continue my subscription after this little freebie because I already have sooooo much nail polish, but I will give this first box a fair try... and the point of the promotion is to reach out to people who wouldn't have subscribed in the first place, so I'd say it's a success for them!

I've been getting the Julep Maven box since October, and I overall like the quality and quantity of the items they give each month. The nail polishes themselves are about half the size of a regular OPI or China Glaze polish, so if you were to just buy them from the julep website, the price is outrageous. So the box compared to their individually listed prices is way cheaper. I've only been unhappy with one month, when they sent a plumping lipgloss (which I really don't like and theirs really stings) and a yellowy color that looked better in the images than in person. All the other polishes I've received have been pretty true to image color for me, though.

Whoa this is so cool! Their website was annoying to navigate but I am so happy to try this. Just this week my usual nail polish brand was failing me and I am now looking to try new brands and find a new favorite! Too many chips ;_;
