Review: Julep Quick Dry Polish Drop & Robin swatch

h i

I wanted to share swatches of JULEP polish in Robin
and a review of their Quick Dry Polish Drops

Finish · Crème
Color Description
Robin's egg blue crème.

What makes Julep Nail Color so great?
Julep Nail Color is “4-free” and does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP. Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. Julep nail color is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free colors and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

What I think?
I been wanting a creme pastel turquoise polish and when I saw this shade in Julep I had to get it. One thing I was slightly disappointed is the shade. In their website promo photo its looks like a perfect baby pastel turquoise but when I received it in person, its actually looks quite vibrant with a few shades darker than their stock polish photo. On nails it looks like slightly creamy turquoise, goes on very vibrant and opaque, definitely does not go on like a baby shade so please beware. Overall if you are looking for turquoise polish this would be perfect!

QUICK DRY POLISH DROPS

A few of these game-changing quick-dry drops will leave your manicure touchably smudge-free much sooner. Includes conditioning ingredients such as Vitamin E and Sweet Almond Oil to nourish and hydrate nails.

What I think?
I hate messing up a freshly dried nails so any products that will fasten the process I am always happy to try. This liquid consist of mixture of oils that makes the nail polish dry faster. Rosewood oil, almond oil, rice bran oil, lavender oil, ylang ylang oil and vitamin E to be exact. It smells does smell like mixture of florally lavender, surprisingly with all the oils in this product it doesnt feel really oily and it dries into your skin. They instructs to apply 1-2 drops on each nail one minute after final polish application. I would say it does help the nails to dry faster, but remember its not instant lol If it takes 10 min for a nails to fully dry on its own, I would say this will cut the process to 6 min.

Thanks for stopping by hope you like the review ^^

  1. Thanks for the review (: I'm a Julep maven, and a while back I was looking at this color and it's just not pale and cute enough to order. It's so much better to see the pics you took compared to stock photos.

  10. The color is quite pretty though it's definitely not robin blue. I'm curious about the dry polish drops though I do prefer quick dry top coats.

  11. I received this color in one of my Maven boxes in the summer, and at first I did not like it but after wearing it a few times I grew to like the turquoise color. It's darker than a Robin's egg blue but its very pretty and looks nice on my nails. I took it with me during summer vacation when I went back to my country and my cousin really liked it so I ended up giving it to her but since then I've started to miss it, and am thinking of repurchasing it.
