Review: SANTEN FX NEO eyedrops

Today I wanted to share my little obession with eyedrops... lol

I have reviewed Japanese eyedrops in the past, this time I wanted to review SANTEN Sante FX Neo eyedrops! As a glasses and contact wearer, for me eyedrops are a MUST HAVE item. They help me relieve fatigue/strained eyes, prevents red eyes and alleviates dry eyes.

Since 1991 Sante FX series are an eye drop with a powerful refreshing effect that was revolutionary among over-the-counter products at the time. Became one of the staples of eyedrops in Japan but its not for the faint of heart since the cooling intensity is very strong but with all that power it immediately alleviates the eyes.

I had to get this Limited Evangelion edition cause I LOVE AYANAMI Rei lol

About SANTEN
Since its foundation in 1890, Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has contributed to the protection and improvement of people's eyesight and health. Santen's integrated operations extend from research and development to production and sales of prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals.

What is this eyedrop good for?

Eye strain, conjunctival congestion, itchy eyes, prevention of eye diseases (after swimming and when dust or sweat enters the eyes), inflammation of the eye due to ultraviolet light or other optical radiation(snow blindness etc.), blurred vision (severe eye discharge), sore eyelids, irritation caused by contact lenses

Contain effective active ingredients that help to relieve eye fatigue
Maximum concentrations* of amino acids (taurine, Potassium L-aspartate) are contained.

It also contains neostigmine methylsulfate which improves focus adjustment. Sante FX is highly effective for eye fatigue and red-eye relief offering a refreshing and long lasting cooling sensation.

What I think?

Since Sante FX Neo is level 5 their highest level of cooling sensation it is indeed shockingly minty, but the more you use it the more you get used to the sensation and most likely you will get addicted to the minty sensation lol If your eyes were tired or irritated before this eye drop, after 2-3 drop per eyes wait few seconds before you open your, eyes make sure to roll your eyes around to get the eyedrops evenly distributed then open your eyes. Your eyes will feel like it took a power nap and are refreshingly rejuvenated  :)

Also there is no scent or taste so that is a PLUS in my book lol

If you ever tried Rohto eyedrops especially Z! you will find that they are similar in their performance and their cooling sensation. Overall I love both Santen and Rohto eyedrop evenly.

Overall:
I give it 5 out of 5
especially a must have for glasses and contact wearer (you with bad vision) lol

Packaging
Made very well, feels solid, cap closes tightly

Alleviates red eyes and dry eyes
got rid of my red eye after few minutes

Cooling sensation
at first intense but after nice minty feeling lasts for a while

My eyedrops all stars!
Rohto Lycee is the weakest one in terms of cooling sensation, Z! and FX Neo is about head to head with their effective and cooling sensation ^_^

well hope this helps!

Review: LUCIDO-L Milk Jam Hair Color in Milk Tea

H e l l o

I wanted to share with you one of the hair dye I used few months ago while I was in Japan that I forgot to share with you... sorry ^^;;

LUCIDO-L Milk Jam Hair Color in Classic milk tea
contains honey, collagen, pearl extract, silk essence and tsubaki oil contents, nourishes your hair while coloring. With special formula to minimize the odor arise during coloring.

This dye is made by Mandom Corp, its supposed to be bleach-in dye meaning there is traces of bleach already mixed in with the hair dye. It supposed to lift your hair color few shades lighter at the same time coloring your hair. I choose the color in Classic milk tea since if you know me I LOVE ash tone brown lol

What I think?
I had high expectation since I looked through reviews on Cosme.net before I bought this dye since it was voted #1 hair dye on their website due to high review feedback from actual users.

Lets start with what I liked first, I liked that it didnt irritate my skin, it was easy to apply due to the dye coming with a comb in applicator, after dying my hair it felt smooth and did not feel like it dried out or damage my hair and one box of this dye was enough to cover all my hair. Ok now with what I didnt like about it, as with most hair dye it never turns out like the box color or the color they suggested that it will turn out... even though it has bleach in it it really didnt lift my roots as light as I hoped for, I didnt feel like the color was ashy enough either. The only part of my hair seemed like a true ash tone was my ends where it was bleached in the past, that part looked beautifully colored ash brown and all other parts were medium to light brown shade with hint of ash tone.

Color:
☆★
Did manage to color bleached hair to a nice ash tone brown but the darker new growth just turned out to be brown with slight ash tone, doesnt really look like it evened out my hair color.
Application:

Really easy to apply
consistency:
easy to blend creamy liquid
Overall:
  ☆★

OVERALL:
I liked that this dye didnt damage my hair it kept my hair looking shiny and didnt dry out my hair but the down side is that if your hair is black to dark brown it really doesn't turn out to be true ash tone brown but more like caramel tone brown shade with slight ash tone. I would say this dye would be perfect if you've bleached your hair in the past and you want to tone your hair to a ash tone or if you have a black hair and simply want to dye your hair to nice medium brown shade then it'll be a perfect dye for you! ^_^

Review: Julep Quick Dry Polish Drop & Robin swatch

h i

I wanted to share swatches of JULEP polish in Robin
and a review of their Quick Dry Polish Drops

Finish · Crème
Color Description
Robin's egg blue crème.

What makes Julep Nail Color so great?
Julep Nail Color is “4-free” and does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP. Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. Julep nail color is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free colors and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

What I think?
I been wanting a creme pastel turquoise polish and when I saw this shade in Julep I had to get it. One thing I was slightly disappointed is the shade. In their website promo photo its looks like a perfect baby pastel turquoise but when I received it in person, its actually looks quite vibrant with a few shades darker than their stock polish photo. On nails it looks like slightly creamy turquoise, goes on very vibrant and opaque, definitely does not go on like a baby shade so please beware. Overall if you are looking for turquoise polish this would be perfect!

QUICK DRY POLISH DROPS

A few of these game-changing quick-dry drops will leave your manicure touchably smudge-free much sooner. Includes conditioning ingredients such as Vitamin E and Sweet Almond Oil to nourish and hydrate nails.

What I think?
I hate messing up a freshly dried nails so any products that will fasten the process I am always happy to try. This liquid consist of mixture of oils that makes the nail polish dry faster. Rosewood oil, almond oil, rice bran oil, lavender oil, ylang ylang oil and vitamin E to be exact. It smells does smell like mixture of florally lavender, surprisingly with all the oils in this product it doesnt feel really oily and it dries into your skin. They instructs to apply 1-2 drops on each nail one minute after final polish application. I would say it does help the nails to dry faster, but remember its not instant lol If it takes 10 min for a nails to fully dry on its own, I would say this will cut the process to 6 min.

Thanks for stopping by hope you like the review ^^

Review: Loreal Preference 5A medium ash brown

Also I colored my hair! I guess Its my annual "going dark for the winter hair!" lol

well I think I used this shade before but couldnt remember,, I am always attracted to anything that calls the shade with an "ash" tone lol This is Loreal Preference in 5A Medium ash brown. I love preference cause it really doesnt damage my super color processed hair, also its a plus that it doesnt sting or itch my scalp and the color turns out quite well. :)

BEFORE:

AFTER:

I like it~ not too dark not light either lol it even out the color, my ends were lighter since I bleached my hair before so the ends always ends up lighter after few washes after coloring my hair,,

so the top of the hair colored medium/dark brown with hint of ash tone and the part that was bleached in the past colored in a nice "BOX" shade, a true medium ash brown~ its actually really pretty shade if you had your hair bleached in the past and get it colored with this shade you'll get a nice darkish medium ash brown ^__^

Sorry for the crappy quality photos it was all taken with my iphone,, I am seriously getting lazy with taking photo cause iphone is just too convenient,, poor dslr are sitting in the dust lol One of my new years solution should be to bust out my dslr every time I take any photos LOL

Review: Beautylabo whip hair dye in pearl ash

Hello!
Been forever since I did a review on a hair dye!! I decided that since I havent used any foam type dye yet I wanted to do a review on this Hoyu Beautylabo Whip hair color that I picked up at a drug store.

There are several different series of foam style Japanese hair dyes out there but what made me attracted to this particular dye was its color selection, its lightening level and the cute packaging lol....

I mentioned in instagram how I was not impressed by this dye, I will show you why... D;

I have chosen this shade in Pearl Ash

Whip hair color comes in 18 different shades to choose from.

Here is before
It has been about 1&1/2 months since I have colored by hair last so I had about 1 1/2inch of new growth, my medium ash brown faded and I have bleached my hair last year, so about from mid of my hair they are slightly lighter,, kinda had a ombre going on.

You can watch the before, the process and the after in this video :)

After

I was really disappointed after I dried my hair and took a look at the inside of my hair it was not fully processed evenly.  It didnt really lighten my new growth too well, my bleached ends were the only place it was fully colored in ash tone like the hair dye promo image,,,

I believe the dye was not evenly processed because the dye was really hard to apply since the consistency of the foam was really thick, it was also really messy to have to scoop out the foam dye with your hands in this cup container after looking at the mess I made trying to dye my hair with this I was not happy..

Another negatives
this dye really hurt my scalp it burn like crazy and since the dye had a thick consistency it was really hard trying to rinse out this dye took like 20 min just to rise out the dye cause it just kept of feeling slimy D;

with my past experiences with many other home dye this had to be the messiest, hardest to rise out and the color processed unevenly.

Color:

didnt really color my new growth like the promo image

Application:

really messy!

consistency:
Thick and hard to apply evenly

Overall:
I give it

I would not really recommend this dye,, Im sure there is far better foam type dye than this one. It was just a hassle trying to clean up the mess and having to deal with painful burning scalp not worth it...

My hunt for perfect foam hair dye continues lol I got many recommendation on Kao Liese bubble foaming hair dye maybe I'll try that next :D

thx for stopping by hope this helps~

P.S.
Thank you for 9000+ follows! Means so much to have all of your support in my little blog :)

What I Think?
I have been waiting for GlossyBox to launch in US ever since I first heard of them in UK, I knew what sort of items their box would contain so my expectation was quite high since I have been disappointed by other US monthly sampling service before,, others seemed to disappoint me in someway since their samples end up being actual small samples or deluxe samples but this was the first sampling box that came with 5 full sized products!! With items that I most likely use. I am very pleased with their packaging, service and their product samples! I know $21 is high compared to other monthly box service but I think you can expect quality and more value from your subscription with GlossyBox, its really nice treat for yourself to get to open such a pretty box filled with mystery high quality products every month! I think its totally worth it :)
