Lovelyshoes.net Haul + Review *pic heavy*

Hi Loves~♥

Here is my haul and review from Lovelyshoes.net

This post is Photo heavy since I wanted you to get a really good idea of what to expect!
share with you all about the issue I had with the products and what I think of each shoes I got from them. You can also watch the video review for further more detail about them! :)

First off
I wanted to share my haul from lovelyshoes.net since you might see me wearing them in my outfit photos and didnt want to leave you hanging with where they are from and also wanted to share my issue I had with them cause I dont want you to shop with them and be disappointed like how I was so that you know what to expect from them. I mainly wanted to purchase from this store since they carried really petite shoes sizes which I have really hard time finding shoes that are my size. X3

Out of the 4 shoe I purchased 3 came with defects, with that said I was not happy so I have contacted their CS right after I received my package, wanted to also share my experience with their customer service as well at the end of this post after you see all the defects.

UPDATE:
seems like their website are down at the moment so I couldnt link you to each shoes that I have gotten, I will get those links up after their site are back and working! :)

on to the shoes, images from their site along with the model # and shoes names:

photo from their site

Actual shoes:

 Photos of the defects include:

charm not as pictured with one side missing a charm, the soles were hanging out and not glued in secure

What I think:

ok so this is the first shoes I saw in the box and was like "oh it looks just like the photos" then I discovered the defects within the shoes after taking off the plastic wrappings. The soles were hanging in the last photo that when I took the photos of the defect right after I got the shoes, then I noticed the buckles were faux buckles that doesnt loop in to the buckles so the ankle band are loose on me and that the charm were different along with the other side's charm missing...other than that this wedge are very comfortable.

GRADE:
C

Photo from their site:

Photos of actual shoes:

This is the only shoes that I didnt not see major issue but that the there is a loose strings hanging out

What I think:
so out of the 4 this one is the one I would consider not defective pair that I could see off. I was happy that is looks just like the stock photo and that I could not see anything wrong with it other than the loose string on the edges. Very high heels so they are sorta hard to walk in but overall it is pretty heels.

GRADE:
B+

 photos from their site:

photos of actual shoes:

 Defects include:

Bows are made poorly and coming out of shape, both shoes are out of shape and looks like they were squished down at one point and some part of the soles were not glued on well.

What I think:

This one I had high hopes for when I bought its cause its so cute! but then I saw this in person I was super disappointed. The color are off, there is glue everywhere on this shoes makes it looks really dirty, the bows are poorly made and not glued in, most thing I was sad about was that its out of shape and wont say on my feet instead it falls off. The pleather doesnt look smooth cause it looks like it had been squished... other than that this shoes would have been so cute to own.

GRADE:
D

Photos from their site:

Actual shoes:

Defects:

The buckle was not sewn on securely and was about to fall off

what I think:

ok the faux leather material on this boots are really poor quality, it easy scratches and feels really flimsy wore this 3 times and the faux leather looks worn with deep scratches. The boots looks like an exact item like in their stock photo but with different color stitchings, a side from the defect that I had to fix by sewing them back on,, this boots are comfortable and the soles are glues nicely.

GRADE:
D+

ok on to the issue with the customer service:

So right after I got the shoes and saw the defect I took a photos of the shoes and sent them this email:

"I received my order today and I am truly disappointed with my purchase out of 4 pairs that I bought 3 are defective, I took pictures of the defective pairs.

The quality of the 3 pairs are terrible and 2 of the pair are unwearable due to the defects I am very upset about this since I was really excited to buy from your store, I received the items that are poor quality and craftsmanship.

Please take a look at the photos that I have attached in this email for further evidence to the defect of the shoes.

Belt buckle side zipper thick high heel boots Z-XH888 brown: The area where the buckles are sewn are coming apart and the soles are coming apart as well.

Fashion leg strap buckle wedge patent leather shoes Z-SL029 pink: The soles are hanging loose and the charms are not as pictured

Fashion bowknot decorated shoes Z-MNS505 pink: The shoes are out of shape looks squished shoes wont stay on my feet, the soles are lifting, the bow are broken and dirty

Please contact me back with a solution,"

Their response:

"Dear Erika Kimura,
we are really feel sorry.
the item Z-XH888 brown, how about u go to shoes shop to fix it? and we will bear the fix fee? just need to exchange the buckle.
about the item Z-SL029 pink, pls don't use your hand to take the sole, and use the glue to put them back. it's OK. maybe the shoes have produced for longtime so the glue maybe not  engouh. pls understand.
about the item Z-MNS505 pink, the bow u can fix it by your hand easily. and the also there was gule problem.
in totoally, we will refund 10usd for those probelm. what's your idea?
any other questions just contact me .

After seeing this response I was Really upset that they think that its not a big deal and that I should glue it back and that I took out the soles out!! I was really appalled their statements.

AND THEN they had the nerve to send me this email right after:

"Dear Erika Kimura,

btw, u have wonderful photograph level i think.
any other questions just contact me .
thank you

after-sale from Service Team of  LOVELYSHOES

are they kidding me.. is this a joke?!?!?

so I emailed then this:

"Are you kidding me??? I did not use my hands to take out the shoe soles it CAME LIKE THAT!!!  how dare you accuse me of doing that and telling me to glue it back!? Why do I have to take my time to take my shoe to get it fixed when its defective?!

What do you mean I can glue it back and fix it myself!!! I paid $ 110.71 for this shoes that I spent on your store and that is not cheap!!

I AM NOT GLUEING AND FIXING THE SHOES MYSELF WHEN YOUR STORE SAY YOUR SHOES ARE GOOD QUALITY!!

Your Exchanges and Returns says this:
Only unmendable defective merchandises are subject to exchange within 7 days of delivery. Please email us and returned to us with our ORIGINAL TAG, UNDAMAGED and UN-WORN within 7 days in the SAME CONDITION as it was sent to you. Once we have confirmed with the defective items, we would immediately EXCHANGE non-detective / correct merchandises for you, or CREDIT the payment amount to your account with immediate use. Buyers are
required to bear items returning shipping cost. No claims on used goods."

and then they finally emailed me this:

"Dear Erika Kimura,

sorry for the problems. really not so good for those items this time. we will pay more attion to before we send out thoes in further.
BUT as we thought, the glue prolem cann't be so serious, the sole won't appear like this, sometimes our products are guleless, but won't so seriously.
we will refund these three items shoes price back. but for the shipping fee, we already paid to our shipping company, so how about u accept refund the shoes price only?
any other questions just contact me .
thank you

so in the end I got a store credit refund that I did not want... I dont want to deal with this sort of CS so I just let that be,, maybe I might use the store credit of $37 to buy another crappy shoes and hope it will be a hit and not a miss?... :sigh:

so please beware when shopping with LOVELYSHOEs.NET... you do get what you paid for since it was a "wholesale" shoes but they should not write in their store that their shoes quality are good cause this is not good but poor.

CUSTOMER SERVICE GRADE:
F

Pros:
*carry petite shoes sizes
*have thousand of shoes to choose from can find really cute selections.

CON:
*shoes smells terrible! toxic smell
*Poor quality shoes, hit or miss with quality
*Terrible customer service
*shipping is really expensive

sorry this post was long,,, =_=;; hope you got a really good idea of the shoe and the store. Thank you for taking your time to read this♥

Have a wonderful weekend loves!

  1.  wow, thats a really bad purchase :( and their customer service so lousy :( i've seen chaigyaru blogged about it before and there was tonnes of defects too. thanks for the review,it will definitely help alot of people and shed light upon purchasing shoes from that website.

  2. wow thanks for the review!! such a shame...i've really small feet as well n it's so hard to find shoes that carry 35...n is true to size 0_0~!

  3.  WTF?? and wow their English is really terrible. I couldn't even understand half the things they were trying to say. You are totally right though in demanding more from CS than the responses you got. I can't believe they just told you to glue things on and fix things yourself! I never heard of this site before, but I definitely will remember to stay clear from it! Thanks for the review! <3

  4.  Oh gosh!! That sounds like such a nightmare. What horrible service! Sorry you had to go through that :( they are such cute shoes though! ugh!! >_<

  5.  The issue with your shoes is such a nightmare!  Sorry you had to deal with it.  I'm always SO weary of wholesale sites (bought from another wholesale site before) and things are just not as picture or not the proper quality.. I've had more luck with clothes but with shoes I can't even risk it.  I also think that the language barrier makes their customer service really hard to deal with--it's just overall very unprofessional.  THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT I think they should have considered that... have had this problem with lots of more amateur sellers/wholesale sellers/ebay sellers... -_-

  6.  Oh my gosh, that's really terrible.  The quality is bad, but the customer service is worse!  I'm sorry you had to deal with that, sweetie.  I hope you can find something that's okay so you don't end up with just store credit that is wasted.  :(

  7.  This look terrible... :( Sorry you had a bad shopping experience

  8.  wow wow wow! they are horrible!! I hope things like this won't happen in the future and I'm glad you did a review on this ao we will know!! I've ran into the same problem before when I ordered off ebay expect I only paid $4 for the item XD

btw, I EXTREMELY LOVE the message you sent to them.. "Are you kidding me???"

haha, I love how you say what's on your mind and get down to the point :) Thanks for letting us know about them!!

  9.  You got lucky you actually sort of got the shoes you bought! I've heard all the horror stories of this place when I first discovered it. They definitely know how to lure customers in and disappoint them to the bitter soul in the end. I've heard of girls receiving completely different shoes, wrong sizes, and sometimes a pair that has 2 different sizes! Had I known you planned  to purchase from them I would've warned you. I'm sorry you had to endure such a horrible experience :( No, you didn't even get what you paid for. $100 is still a lot of money, and imagine how much it cost them to make those crappy "shoes"...!

Of course they don't want to give you a refund and probably use their lack of English skills to their advantage to keep from giving you your money back... it's hard to communicate with these companies, so I think most people settle with their offers :( I can't even understand why they don't refund you when they are obviously flawed. I hope more girls will at least take video of them opening their packages in case something like accusations come up, like with them saying you removed the soles yourself? Ridiculous!! :(

  11. :\ that's awful. Thanks for letting us know about this.  I hate this kind of customer service and the #1 reason I don't want to deal with Asian clothing/shoe shops based in HK.  Their terrible grammar is just a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  12. thanks for the review. That's why some people will think twice to shop online. I know there are many trusted online shop but sometimes the photos are a bit different with the actual condition
And for the service, I think I will do the same :D
I hope they will pay more attention to their product and the service

    ReplyDelete
  13. wow, how awful. you should buy from zipia.net. they have shoes in your size and there are great reviews about their products

    ReplyDelete
  14. great review eki! omg... reading your post makes me feel mad myself!!!im sooo sorry hun for the experience. they sound very unprofessional, i hope you won't have to deal with these kind of people/company in the future!!

  15.  Aww I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. The thing about China wholesale websites is that they can say ANYTHING they want on the site and have no liability, because really the buyers buy at their own discretion and they take advantage of that. :/ Truly unacceptable that they trick people like that. Have you tried Yesstyle.com? I know they have some asian shoes in size 34 so maybe you can try your luck there? But the selections aren't very many. There is a really cute accessories + shoes store near my apt that sell really small shoe sizes too,  maybe if they have a website I can link you :)

  16. I agree! I totally forgot about Zipia! :)

  17. Holy!! Thank you sooo much for reviewing this store!!
The shoes look so cute in the store pictures! What a shame! :(
And also the responses you got regarding your e-mails! How can they accuse you, that you damaged the shoes by yourself?! o.Ô

So sorry to read this, you really paid a lot of money and then you received SUCH shoes! :'(

  20.  Lovelyshoes looks terrible and their responses to you were so...RUDE. Not only were they not profession it seems like the couldn't even use grammar correctly or spellcheck. =/ I'm not even going to look at their shop. Disgusting!

I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience, but I wouldn't worry. Shopping Karma and Karma generally "comes around". Watch as you find the most awesome pair of shoes this week as replacements for four crappy pairs. =P

I will never buy from this site... T^T

  28. Poor Eki. I was about to buy their shoes but just wondering because the shipping price is too expensive. But you did change my mind already haha. Thank you anw for a detail and honest review;)

    ReplyDelete
  29.  :( I can't believe they said that to you!
I ordered from here a while back and was pretty upset about the products I bought.
I've either thrown away or given away all that I bought.
The bags aren't too bad but the shipping you pay in total it's not worth the $10 for each bag or shoe.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hello Eki,
Whaouh, this store is very sucks, not serious :-(
Their emails are full of mistakes, this is really unprofessional... x_x
It's catastrophic xD I will never buy there, erf è_é

    ReplyDelete
  31.  Oh wow, that sucks! : o The shoes looked like really cute in their site, but in real life the quality is absolutely horrible... And it is so rude to speak to you like "it is not a big deal" that you should do all kind of fixing to the shoes that you got. ; (

    ReplyDelete
  32.  You GO GIRL!!~ (: Sorry about your bad experience! You should totally give them a link to your video review and get them to refund your shipping fee because this is really bad publicity for their company and they deserve it!! I recently also had to contact an ebay seller because of a piece of jewelry that was advertised and the real product they sent me was a replicated version and it was VERY VERY poorly replicated, but they put the original piece picture on the ebay description... even though I only paid about 2 dollars, the seller would not refund me after many emails back and forth.

Goodluck with contacting the seller again!

  34. I hadn`t heard about Zipia before but they seem to have very nice products. : ) But because my English isn`t always so good,  so I got a bit confused when I tried to register there... The first things that you should fill in 8when you register) is your "company", which is marked to be compulsory, and then your "name" and now I am wondering what they mean with the "company". : o Could someone help me with this..? :--)

    ReplyDelete
  35.  dear eki,

i am really sorry to hear that. i would be so disappointed as well. especially bcos i am really anal (probably too much!) when it comes to shoes, especially if one looks more worn than the other pair, or if they have laces and the laces and holes for the laces line up differently on both shoes.

i find though, that even from good stores like aldo and steve madden, when you order from them, the shoes are never (or hardly ever) perfect, and i even received a pair from steve madden that had clearly been worn before!

    ReplyDelete
  36.  I can't believe they would use poor quality English, bad etiquette, and just very poor CS. Thank you for the heads up!

  37. hi, Eki, i don't know if you have heard about this website  yet, but it's based in california and the site/store's name is cinderellaofboston.com. i have bought shoes from there before and i have to say that i 80% love theirs shoes. the 10% i don't love is that even though they sell the shoes from petite sized feet, they jack up the prices; another 10% i don't like about them is that sometimes the styles are too old for me. i like young styles. but, this year, the styles seem to be a bit more young and stylish.

but, if you wait and shop around the end or beginning of summer, they have a major clearance sale. i got some pairs for $15 and some pairs for $30 last year. i can't wait for this year's clearance sale!

i hope you will check it out. if you do, call them and ask for a catalog. they will ship the catalog to your house and it will have a 20% discount code on there for you being their first time customer~if you have not ordered from them before.

Great review!  It really is buyer beware and I can't believe their solution was  for you to fix it.  Talk about Horrendous service.  You don't pay to fix THEIR items.  It's defective, period.  The solution is clear. They take it back and /or refund you / credit you full / replace the items or even better, send you new items free of charge.  Seems like they just dont' want to own up... But in sad reality, if they have high customer traffic, they won't care.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lovelyshoes', wholesaledress, etc, are China based companies.  Their stock photos are of the original shoe that was featured in a magazine or other publication.  They then replicate and reproduce those designs with very low quality materials and craftsmanship.  All of these products are made in China.....so..yea.  I can't believe they charged you $110 for them!!  Total rip off because they probably marked up the prices by at least 300%.

  42.  Just as you did, I searched on the internet to find reviews on them. And they all had the same problem, smelly shoes/bags, poor quality shoes and crappy customer service. I even read on a forum that they were rude when the girl wanted a refund because her shoes were broken but they didn't give her one.

    ReplyDelete
  43.  That's such a pity! They looked so cute but if they are not well made then you were right to complain. No company with CS like that is worth dealing with, I hope they learn from this!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh god... I would've sent my momma to go get them (cause my mom studies law ; D MWAHAH).I can't believe they had the nerve to go at you like that.DAMN I would've been PISSED OFF to the bone! Some cheap, Asian stores just think they're all that. I will NEVER buy from them EVER! I hope their site goes out of business >_>"

  45. Thanks you so much for this post, it really looks like if like to have good shoes should not buy from lovelyshoes.net. I've been thinking about to buy shoes from there because of the same reason, I have the same shoe size with you. It really sucks when I see lots of beautiful shoes but there isn't any of my size! :c

    ReplyDelete
  46.  Hey Eki,

I've never really commented before but after I saw your post on these shoes I just had to empathize with you. I also bought a few shoes from a similar online shoe shop in Shanghai and the pictures looked so good and the customer reviews were good as well so I though "Hey~ this seems like a good deal!" I was so wrong!! ): just like you 2 out of the 3 shoes were defective and of VERY poor quality. =_=;; And the one that wasn't defective was comfortable for the first two hours but then  I realized that there was something digging into my heels on both shoes and i realized it was a metal bar that they hadn't properly hammered down! It was so painful to walk for the next few hours because the pain was light at first but then became  unbearable.

Sigh~ I feel like the shoes you were sold were all fake chinese copies like the ones i got. :/ especially with the way they handled customer service... My heart goes out to you T_T

I only paid 45 RMB for my shoes (around....6 dollars?) so it was easy to let go for me but I feel like they really cheated you with your shoes! ): I'm so angry ><

I hope you have a better time shoe shopping online next time ;n;... maybe yes asia would have the real thing? (i wouldn't know since i've never shopped there but I've heard that their stuff is all authentic >< )

    Best of luck,
    Aki

  47. Still can't believe they only gave you a store credit D: they should have refunded you for their defective products and most especially their crappy customer service.

    ReplyDelete
  48. That sucks! I think i should let you know too that I bought some petite shoes (I'm a size US5 too) from Yesstyle.com and had similar problems with the soles coming off (I also glued the sole back but the shoes aren't very comfortable), the sole cutting was too BIG for the shoes itself, and the brand name was different from the photo on the site. they also came in a bag for each pair, boxed with my other goods. I don't wanna bitch about it on your blog but I thought I should let you know because of this post + video. =(  I don't want you to make a purchase to find similar problems.I've decided to stop getting shoes from there and I know yesstyle.com is very popular. and I myself use it a lot for the cosmetics, but the shoes you need to becareful of. =( personally i'm not buying shoes from yesstyle again since I've bought 4-5 pairs and only 1 was fine which again was the most expensive. so just a heads up if you're considering. I left it because they weren't very expensive but it was disappointing. Please let me know if you find a good place for petite shoes =(

    ReplyDelete
  49.  Thanks for the review eki =] won't be buying from them in the future!

    ReplyDelete
  50. hey eki :) lovely review, I totally agree with everything you have said ~
I bought there twice before, and don't think I will again, but they do have some nice pictures of the products. Wish the outcome was actually the same ~~
I would recommend you purchasing from Zipia like what other people have said, their products are a lot better :)

    ReplyDelete
  51.  A friend of mine ordered from the same store some time ago. She ordered about like 10 pairs of shoes or something and I think only one pair has no defects...
All the shoes she ordered were very different from yours so after I see your video I conclude that that the probably to receive defective shoes is big !
The defects she found were not that big compared to yours but anyway, when you place a order, you aren't expecting the things to come out with flaws.
What I didn't knew was that their customer service was that bad : s Seriously, just because of that I wouldn't buy from them, even their shoes were gorgeous and good quality !
Thank you for the review : )

    ReplyDelete
  52.  Wow that is really rude and terrible customer service! I feel bad for you because its almost like they scammed you! Really got to think twice about buying stuff online and research their 'company' better first. Especially be wary of ones in China! Thanks for sharing the review and I hope you don't get something like that again.

    ReplyDelete
  53.  Oh wow.. that sounds like you had a REALLY bad experience with this store =S
Thanks for your blog post! Helps me take note as one of the stores to NEVER purchase from!
    Such horrible customer service!
Sad to hear your purchases weren't so great~ Glad you got at least 1/4 shoes though!

    ReplyDelete
  54.  I never buy shoes online simply because you just don't know what you're getting, either the sizing is off or its just not comfortable.  In your case the quality control department of this company is made up of Blind people! so sorry you had a bad experience but giving us the heads up about was nice of you :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ah how upsetting, the shoes did look very cute in the official photos. Its expected that official photos will always be better than the real product, but that was a bit too much of a difference. I'm honestly not so surprised by their lackadaisical response. It's too bad you had to write those messages just to get store credit. Its always the stores with low quality that won't offer refunds.

    ReplyDelete
  56.  wow... their customer service is appalling. I can understand how much stress you'd had to go through with countless emails to them.

Seem like they were happy to take your order, receive the money but when it came with problems about the order, they didn't want to deal with it and didn't even acknowlege the fact that the shoes you bought are faulty.

how they could run a business like this, I won't know. I don't don't think they could last in the long run carryng on like this anyway.

Sorry to hear that hun. Its good that you had shared this with us.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Have you ever browsed through Nordstrom for shoes?  They're known to carry the smallest and the biggest shoes sizes.  Their customer service is top knotch and they will go out of their way to get you the shoe of your dreams. :D

I wonder if this company Lovelyshoes.net can get in trouble for selling the red sole shoe?  (Christian Louboutin's signature).

  58. Wow, so good to know about this online store.  Will never purchase from them... I CANNOT tolerate poor customer service in addition to horrible craftsmanship.  Thanks for taking your time to write this blog Eki!

  59. (cont. comment i posted on your utube)
i took modeling photos for a shoe/bag company like this... it wasn't the same company but everything about them sounds exactly the same. i guess there's a lot of ppl in asia doing this (mine was from hongkong). the quality was the same, totally horrible. shoe style adorable, but almost everything was defective. i was just starting out with modeling & photography at the time and didn't know what to expect so i took this woman at her word when she said that this was just the "sample" product she was sending to me but the quality to costomrers would be better. I think this was a total lie though, she was just selling poorly made products. as the photographer & model, i got to keep most of the products i shot, but only a handful of them were even worth wearing because they were so screwed up. i've had to buy shoe glue (you can find it at homedepot or online) to fix the soles and various gluing problems with the shoes. the jewelry she sent all claimed to be silver but rusted quickly. i had the same experience with the so called "man made leather", it scratches soooo easily and rips easily too, definitely not leather or even decent quality pleather. for that, i usually can make the shoes look nicer by buffing them with either a regular buffer or a shoe polisher in their color (you should try that if you continue wearing those boots)...

thanks for doing that review. it's really good to let other girls know what they're getting into with companies like this, it's basically a total scam and they're wasting their money unless they themselves are skilled at making shoes and can basically rebuild them! :S your shoes are all so cute though, it's a shame they weren't made better... :(
also, your hair looks so pretty in the vid you made!! <3

  60.  wow  how unprofessional!  did they think they can type like that to customers?  it's like chatting with a 5 year old on AIM!  they look like one of those stores that take pictures from designer brands and make imitate the products... sad!

  61. Wow, what a huge disappointment. Their customer service really unprofessional, and absolutely unacceptable. Thank You Eki for this very informative post. I've been wondering about their shoes, and their service for a while, but I will not be tempted by the cute looking photos on their site. It's not worth it to spend good money in their really crappy service and products.

    ReplyDelete
  62. you pay for what you get think about it. it only cost in the $100 range because of shipping since the shoes are heavy and its from a different country. serious for less than $20 a shoe with i say minor defects you shouldnt be complaining. not to mention the shoe in the picture will almost 80% not match with the shoe you receive because it is a knock off. nothing is ever that cheap unless you buy it in person and there is a huge sale for it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Oh my god Eki, this has to be the worst customer service I have heard about in the longest time. They are so unprofessional and it really disgusts me how they treat it as a not so serious issue?! What a disappointment that they gave you only store credit. It seems that they really don't know how to limit damage control. So sorry that you had to go through so much stress!

    ReplyDelete
  64. wow... they were so rude!! I love it when they state on the website that you should contact them if anything's wrong with your order and at the end you didn't get your money back but a crappy store credit refund. Indeed a very bad customer service.

  65.  Thank you for this post. I've been considering for a very long time if I should order from them or not. But their shipping is super expensive so I decided not to bother.. and now I'm really happy because of it. I'm sorry that you had a terrible experience with them tho :

  66. Oh man that sucks! I'm sorry to hear you had such a crappy experience with them. The shoes looked promising at first but the defects are definitely something you can't possibly overlook and what's worse is that they want you to repair them yourself.
If only you could take those shoes and throw them one by one to the person who emailed you right? *hugs* feel better

  72. That rusty look is actually tarnish and very fixable. Silver tarnishes quickly on some people (silver necklaces tarnish easily on me, for example). It's due to your body chemistry (some people's sweat is more alkaline). There are also different values of silver.  You can clean them with store bought jewelry cleaner, but I like to use a soft  damp towel with regular (do not use whitening!) toothpaste (paste, not gel) and rubbing it BACK AND FORTH (not in circles); stop cleaning it this way if your silver gets a scratch though. You should clean your silver each time you use it to prevent it from tarnishing, but even I forget to clean my silver--even the costume jewelry containing silver. :)

  75.  hi babe, the way they responded to your complaint is unacceptable. im so sorry you had to experience this kind of rude customer service (if they can even call it that).

Thank you for sharing your experience with that online store, I'm sure you've saved a lot of people some money ;)

    ReplyDelete
  76. wow i can't believe they were accusing you of ruining the shoes seriously?! i read about this store before and most of the reviews turned out horrible. the shoe quality and the style of the shoe were hardly ever consistent with the stock photos. i feel so bad for you for having to deal with their bad customer service too! i can't help but be angry for you because it's false advertising! they shouldn't say it's great quality shoes when it isn'ti laughed when they complimented your photography skills though, it sounded like they thought it would lighten the situation lol

  77.  I'm sorry to see that you got such bad experience.  I am really skeptical when it comes to online "warehouse clothings/shoes".  I just feel like they're not trustworthy.  Although the prices are tempting, very tempting, the products are often of poor quality.  I just hope that there's one store that truly sell affordable and nice quality products.  I guess I'll just stick with Forever 21 for now lol.  Please let us know if you do know any of that kind of sites though.  =)

  78.  what crocksuckers those people are!

:( i hate it when people get bad customer service and even have legitimate proof of the defects..
on the other hand, i always shop for shoes that are cute AND affordable at gojane.com their customer service is impeccable and when i had a shoe defect they told me to send it right back and they'll send out another!

:) at least some places still have good CS, ooh and also i've also seen some of the brands that i get from gojane at macys! so.. theyve gotta be good shoes haha. but the down side is, they dont show brands only the style, which is fine by mee

good luck and thanks so much for warning us about their horrible site.

  79. Wow this is ridiculous. I am so fed up with some of the wholesale stuff because the quality is ridiculously poor. Sorry to hear that you had bad experience with them. I usually do not order clothes, bags or shoes online because of the fit. They are something I would rather see and try in person.

  81.  As someone who has worked in customer service for years... I'm HORRIFIED by their reply. Given the language barrier issue, their reply is still very rude and unprofessional. I bought clothes from a chinese whosale store (Wholesale dress) once and the transaction was so bad and I received similar emails... my friends and I had placed a massive group order. They later emailed me that some items were actually out of stock even though they had charged me for them. They would only give me store credit but I insisted many many many times to get my money refunded. At first, they didn't want and once I treathened to file a Paypal dispute, they were quick to reimburse me! You should give this a try!unprofessional. 82. Hi Eki!! The shoes that you  purchased looks really pretty =)! In the photos from their site... But sadly, the ones that you received were in such poor quality.  You're right though, in your video, you said that factoring in the shipping fee, it really isn't that cheap at all purchasing from them.  I just can't believe that they were so unprofessional in handling this matter.  Their e-mail response was seriously a joke! I would think that they would at least have a better solution to the defects considering they are making bad quality shoes all the time >=(!  Thank you for sharing your honest opinion about these shoes! Despite the fact that they were really super cute, you were unbiased and shared with us the problems with the shoes.  Btw, I've never heard of lovelshoes.net before, but then again, I've never heard of anything before lol >__>... My point is, thank you for always sharing your products and places that you buy them from ^__^!!! **hug**

On another note: I love your videos! And please do not feel like you're blabbering! I really like your videos because it really feels like you're talking to me.  I've noticed why I never really watch peoples video blogs or reviews because they sound really... fake? I don't know, it seems like, during the video, they are too busy trying to sound pretty that it just gets really annoying... I know everyone thinks differenty, but to me, that's when I find it annoying... Is when you're reviewing something, and you get so caught up with how you sound... how you look, that it takes away from reviewing a product.  I mean, unless they normally talk like that... I find it really distracting >___>... I've video chatted with you before, and you really do just talk like you do in your videos! You do what you set out to do, which is just to review and talk to your followers =). I started giggling during the part when you said, "what if you couldn't sew?" because that would be me =P, someone who doesn't know how to sew.  But its true! For people like me, who don't know how to sew, it would suck to receive a shoe who needs some stitching... And that is exactly what I'm trying to saw here (sorry for such a long comment), that your video seems like you're talking to me and I just feel that its genuine and heartfelt =].  Thank you for being and staying true Eki ^__^ <3

  83. That's pretty awful. While I do believe in "you get what you pay for" there's a limit to how crappy a thing they can sell you, regardless of the price. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. If it makes you feel any better, I envy your petite feet!

  84.  awwwww.... i feel sorry that you had to go through this ekichan but thank you so much for letting us know about this.

  85. this is actually expected for me, lovelyshoes.net is just a huge selection from chinese shoe stores that you can find at tao bao. they´re very cheap and made with cheap materials and  labor. but thank you very much for the review, it will definitely make people think twice before buying because of the attractive pictures only. I won´t even comment the customer service, that´s so embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  86. omg... What a horrible experience! :( I can't believe they had the nerve to tell you to go to a shoe repair shop on your own & that they would 'cover the fee.' Yea right!! & only wanting to refund you 10$? That is fucking crazy.
This kind of reminds me of YesStyle's shoes... Some of them are ok quality, but I have received a couple of pairs in the past that were really poorly made. Thank you for sharing about this though~ I'm sure you are saving a lot of other people this grief!

    ReplyDelete
  87.  OMG unprofessional, much?! T_T They really shouldn't have done that, because it's their responsibility to send you products that are of quality.  If there are any defects, they should at least replace the ones they sent you or shoulder ALL costs and refund what you paid, including shipping fee.  :|

I'm sorry you were victimized by those people! I did see your posts on Twitter about having small-sized feet, and I think you should give http://fivebyfiveph.multiply.com and http://asianvogue.multiply.com a try :) The former has remakes of popular shoes, while the latter has shoes similar to those you ordered, except their service is way better and I've heard good reviews about them.  :) Hope you won't encounter such troublesome sellers again!

    ReplyDelete
  88.  Hi Eki, please kindly file a paypal dispute to get back your full refund, you don deserve to get back just Usd37 for those shoes that you cant really wear them out?
Trust me, I've file a paypal dispute before, and with all the email communication & evidence that was sent to paypal, they will give you a very reasonable feedback :)
Thou it does takes some time, but its really worth it. Drop me an email/twitter, if you require any help on this, glad to do so anytime :)

  89.  I watched your video and when you mentioned all that I was waiting for customer service replies. I'm disappointed, I actually heard of this site a few years back and was going to order, but due to financial problems I held back and I'm glad I did!

Even though it is "you pay for what you get", honestly they could have dealt their emails in a more professional matter, and even CHECK their products before it ships. Sure it's cheap, but to get a good reputation you really need to go that extra mile.
Sorry that this happened to you, and thanks for letting people know about them!

  91. I bought from them too and the quality was obviously shit. I wish I knew. One of the boots, I wore maybe like 3x and the sole totally fell off. Shame coz they were the cutest crochet boots ever. As for the other shoes... they hurt my feet sooo bad. I hate that site.

    ReplyDelete
  92.  wow, that's terrible. But that's the problem when the vendor isn't in the same country, the consumer doesn't have much leverage to get them to do the right thing. If this kind of thing happened in Australia, they would have had to take a refund due to the product not meeting the description or are of unmerchantable quality >.< Your blog post probably hurt them the most - they've lost 6000 of your viewers as potential customers :P But they will probably just make a new website under a different name =_=

that was really unprofessional of them.

  97. aw i heard other reviews about this site being terrible too but i didn't want to believe it because the shoes were so cute and so cheap! i really glad you reviewed it, you mentioned stuff i never though about before, like how those pink heels couldn't be worn because the middle part was too loose and so your foot would fall out. these shoes are probably made in sweatshops too!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Thanks for making this public!  I had a similar situation happen to me and I was not happy. It's nice to have reviews like this. Also,  Sorry that the quality of the items were so bad! >.<;

  99. Hey, I'm a reader of your blog but have never posted any comments. But after reading this entry, I feel that I must make some suggestions! Those people are rude and super unprofessional! They never specified store credit as the only way for a refund, if they refuse to refund the $ to your account, I think you should just call your credit card company and dispute the charge. They usually stand on the customer's side. Hope you haven't used the store credit yet!

  100. Gosh. I was really hoping to buy from them...I just randomly came upon this blog while looking for reviews of Lovely Shoes, and boy, am I glad I did! So...no shoe buying from them. But what about bags?? I'd love to buy their bags!

  101. Their English is bad because when you send emails to them, their systems translate your messages into Chinese and they reply in Chinese and use the same software to translate back into English, so don't expect their English to be good. You get what you pay for. I don't think it is fair for them to send out defective items but you should probably know that those shoes are produced in sweatshops where the workers probably only get paid about $50USD a week for working 40+hour weeks with little or no breaks. You say your shoes smell toxic, of course they do, imagine what conditions the workers must have to work in and around with that smell all the time. Personally I think you should be ashamed of yourself for expecting so much for so little money, and to not be considerate enough to realise that you DO get what you pay for at the end of the day. You are spoilt, and your only concern is yourself and your $$$$. Talk about First world problems, it is people like you who are bringing this world DOWN.

I have tiny feet, too... I'm also a size 34 and it is impossible to find shoes for me in stores too.

I'm just surprised at how unprofessionally they have handled the situation. They didn't even put in the effort to spell things correctly in their emails...

    ReplyDelete
  105. I wish I had read this post earlier!
I excitedly bought 15 pairs of shoes and 11 of them were defective! 4 of them were also made so poorly that I'd render them pretty much unwearable! I've vowed to never buy from them again.

  106. Hi Eki.  I ordered shoes from lovelyfashion.com, which I assume is affiliated with lovelyhoes.com.  I did a ton of research on it before I ordered but there wasn't much information out there when I ordered it, so I decided to just give it a try.  I had a terrible experience.  I didn't receive the shoes until after a month and had to call various times to confirm that they had been shipped.  When they finally arrived, I was so embarrassed I put them back in the damaged box it came in and hid it in a dark corner of my closet.  It reeked of cheap plastic (I felt everyone could smell it if I were next to them), and it just felt cheap.  The red soles faded the first time I tried them on, and the inside of the shoe wasn't even sown evenly so there was a pice of plastic sticking into my foot at all times.  Did I say it was terrible?  So, just letting others know not to order from these companies.

  107.  Try to find some store on ebay from Taiwan, they have cheap shoes with really good quality. I already buy about 5 pairs and happy with quality, no smell, no deffect, 20 -30 $ shoes from Taiwan looks like 200$.

  108. Uhm... Wow. They need to hire someone who can actually type proper English

  109. Hi! I bought three pairs from them three months ago. One red high heeled shoes with polka dots design, one light pink/beige platform shoes with chiffon (i guess) straps and one pair of red suede boots with faux sheep skin inside. Each of them looks exactly as their pictures on their website and everything are sturdy and well-made. Maybe I got lucky! :) the only thing that i hated was their high shipping fee. I'm sorry for your bad experience though.

  110. I think it's understandable to be angry if you thought you'd found something for good quality but it turned out to be terrible. It's the principle of it. If you're going to pay for something the least you would expect is decent customer service. No need to get personal and attack the blogger. She is describing her experience and letting others know. She isn't blacklisting them and telling you not to buy. The main thing to remember she is pointing out is that they have stated the shoes are of good quality when they weren't. After buying something I'm sure no one wants to be told to fix it themselves. If you sell a product and it is defective it is your responsibility to resolve it.

I would recommend Yesstyle for shoes. The only problem with Yesstyle is that whatever is listed on their site might not necessarily be in stock once you put through the order. They need to check with their supplier first and can take up to a certain amount of days. The quality of shoes ranges. Of course for a little more you can get good quality but the cheaper the shoes are the quality suffers. I believe they would have the shoes in your size Eki.

    ReplyDelete
  111. What email address did you use to contact them? I've been trying to contact them to change the shoe size i ordered because i accidently ordered a size too small but they haven't replied back to me yet and its been 2 or 3 days already. I've sent them like 5 emails complaining and they still haven't arrived. I seriously should have listened to the negative reviews on this website.

  112.  Obviously Leticia you work for Lovely Shoes.  You English is just as good as theirs.   The place is a joke.  I brought a pair off boots, out of stock and now, surprise surprise the third pair is out of stock.  I wished I had looked at these reviews before I decided to purchase anything from lovely shoes.  They are an absolute joke and I should have realised.  May just cut my losses and spread the word for anyone out  there never too deal with them.

  113. I love their shoe styles but I had the same bad experience as you. I had some shoes that were very bad and fell apart, they only wanted to give me 5% discount on my NEXT buy. At least you got a full refund. :(

Also, I had some issues with their sizes (EU). Obviously their China 37 is exactly EU 37, but they insist it's EU 38 and I AM WRONG. I've never had troubles with my shoe size bought somewhere else.

  115. I'm probably going to sound like a heckler here, but I do think people are too hard on Asian retailers. There are drastic cultural differences and their way of doing business is completely different than ours. I know from our side, it seems outrageous they'd respond in such a way, but where they're from this is completely normal. I've also seen this in places like Luanda, some parts of France, and S. Africa. They could have easily been glued back in and the buckle stitched... true no one wants to do that - here, we expect those things to be taken care of upon receipt, but in other places it is no big deal. I think she/he tried to mend your issue at least which counts for something. Sorry you were disappointed with your purchase, though.
